Position Description

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) delivers end-to-end operational HR support, ensuring that site-level programs are executed with precision and that HR policies are translated into seamless day-to-day workplace practices. As the primary point of contact for their assigned client groups, the HRBP takes a hands-on approach to fostering engagement, streamlining talent development, and managing the full employee lifecycle.

This role requires a high degree of ownership in the administrative and functional pillars of HR, including workforce planning, employee relations, local onboarding execution, and benefits administration. HRBPs are expected to work collaboratively across locations to ensure standard operating procedures are followed, cross-train colleagues, and maintain uninterrupted HR service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a visible and accessible HR presence, engaging with employees and managers directly to advise on issues and collaboratively determine appropriate HR action or escalation.
  • Collaborate with site managers to identify and support appropriate HR interventions and initiatives that drive the team's daily operations and goals.
  • Act as the site-level advisor for all HR matters, providing guidance and operational support on employee relations, benefits, workforce planning, and performance management.
  • Lead the execution and support of HR programs including: onboarding, orientation, and performance management; ensuring they are effectively and collaboratively adopted at the site level.
  • Oversee and support benefits administration for US locations, acting as the primary advisory contact for employee inquiries while ensuring programs are compliant and cost-efficient.
  • Collaborate with managers to address performance issues, providing the advisory support needed to implement improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • Facilitate and support talent reviews, coaching, and development initiatives to collaboratively build high-performing teams.
  • Support site leaders during organizational changes, acting as a functional partner to drive the adoption of new programs.
  • Ensure HR practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations, supporting managers in maintaining labor relations and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the broader HR team to align site-specific activities with corporate standards, ensuring a consistent and seamless employee experience across all locations.
  • Promote collaboration and cross-training within the HR team to maintain seamless coverage and support during absences.
  • Track and analyze HR metrics to advise on trends and support data-driven continuous improvement at the site level.
  • Manage and support recruitment for hourly roles, collaborating with hiring managers to ensure successful site integration.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HR Business Partner or equivalent role.
  • Experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US benefits administration, onboarding programs, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Proven ability to build strong partnerships with managers and influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Expertise in employee relations, change management, conflict resolution, and HR project management.
  • Autonomous and accountable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical skills, and organizational abilities.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a passport; travel required between sites (~10%) for training and development purposes.
  • Flexibility in working hours may be necessary to support their assigned site across multiple shift times.

Salary and Benefits

  • The salary for this position is $75,000 - $90,000. Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
