Manufacturing Engineer Position Summary:
A Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for implementing and reviewing the procedures and equipment involved in the manufacturing process. Which includes researching automation techniques, testing new systems for efficiency and planning factory layouts to optimize production. Lead or assist in the cost estimating process.

Manufacturing Engineer E ssential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, such as efficiency and speed.
- Provide cost estimations for new and existing projects.
- Create, evaluate, and implement manufacturing processes.
- Study production and machine requirements.
- Develop and test effective automated and manual systems.
- Design and install equipment.
- Implement manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products.
- Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
- Optimize facility layouts, production lines, machine operations and network performance.
- Resolve issues and delays in production.
- Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
- Train staff in new and existing processes
- Collaborate with other engineers, contractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
- Upgrade systems and processes with recent technology.
- Strong focus on new product implementation.
- Proven experience with repeatable jobs.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field
- 5 years of work experience as a manufacturing engineer or similar role
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods and tool design
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment and quality assurance techniques
- Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations
- Well-versed in relevant software (e.g., CAD, MS Office)
- Black belt certification a plus
