Registered Nurse - PRN

Job Overview Aviator Home Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) (PRN) to provide skilled home health care in Plano, TX. Job Details Location: Plano, TX 75023 Position Type: PRN Job Category: Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Functions Initial and ongoing comprehensive assessments of home health patients’ needs, including OASIS assessments at appropriate time points. Develop, initiate, and revise the plan of care as necessary and initiate appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures. Provide services and/or treatments requiring substantial and specialized nursing skills, including skilled nursing care using infection control measures (OSHA). Coordinate patient care, make necessary referrals, report changes in patient needs to physicians and other staff, evaluate outcomes of care, and plan for discharge. Monitor assigned cases to ensure compliance with third‑party payor requirements. Provide effective communication and counseling to patients/families, team members, and other health care professionals. Complete appropriate documentation in a timely manner. Supervise and provide clinical direction to HHA/LVN providing services. Demonstrate commitment and professional growth by participating in in‑service programs and competency training. Promote agency philosophy and administrative policies. Perform on‑call responsibilities and provide on‑call service to patients/families as assigned. Experience / Requirements Must be a registered nurse (RN) licensed in Texas (required). One year of RN experience (required). Adult home health experience (preferred).
