Registered Nurse - Acute Care (12 Hour Day/Night Rotate) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 12-hour day/night rotation with weekends as scheduled. Job Description The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in an acute care setting. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a patient load with a ratio of 6:1. A valid driver's license is required to facilitate assignments. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes in condition. Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (Allscripts). Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS certification (AHA) required. A valid nursing license is required for submission.
