Registered Nurse - Acute Care (12 Hour Day/Night Rotate)

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care in an acute care setting. The nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, managing a patient load with a ratio of 6:1. A valid driver's license is required to facilitate assignments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including assessments, planning, and implementation of care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report any changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (Allscripts).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification (AHA) required.
• A valid nursing license is required for submission.
