This position is fully remote, enabling counselors to practice telehealth seamlessly from their own home or preferred location in Renton, Washington. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, identifying unique needs and treatment modalities.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based frameworks to support therapeutic goals, adjusting approaches as necessary based on patient feedback and progress.

• Expertly manage documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly and accurately.

• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans tailored to each patient’s specific circumstances to facilitate ongoing stability.

• Create thoughtful and structured discharge plans that help ensure a smooth transition out of care while promoting continued mental health progress.

• Uphold adherence to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies to maintain the highest standard of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and continuing education to enhance your competencies and therapeutic skills.

• Actively participate in case consultations and agency meetings, collaborating with peers to foster shared knowledge and support for challenging cases.

• Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training sessions in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Serenity Peaks, you will primarily serve a diverse client base comprising individuals and families across various age groups and backgrounds. Our clients face a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. By offering thoughtful and individualized therapy, you will play a pivotal role in empowering clients to manage their mental health effectively while fostering resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field that fulfills licensure requirements is mandatory.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the State of Washington is required.

• Experience in providing teletherapy or remote mental health support is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
