Support Services Technician II

Employment in this role is conditional upon successful execution of the contract by the client. The support services technician II will coordinate aspects of support to the training center that may include any of fleet management, mail, courier, diplomatic pouch, property disposition and accountability, equipment, supplies, inventories, facility maintenance requests and tracking. Key responsibilities include assisting with fleet management, maintaining tracking boards and electronic documents, operating U.S. government vehicles, providing logistical support, inspecting received/delivered goods, monitoring depletion rate of supplies, maintaining storage areas, assisting with stockroom functions, resolving property discrepancies, picking up and delivering official mail, escorting un-cleared personnel, managing common records, employing security standards, and providing other training program support.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, intermediate knowledge of support services functions, a valid driver's license, secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and the ability to pass a background check. Preferred qualifications include working knowledge of military, law enforcement, and government security operations, fleet operations, and supply and logistics record keeping/management. Minimum skills include strong organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, the ability to work in a collaborative team environment, maintaining high standards for quality of work, and developing a solid understanding of the client's rules, regulations, and procedures relating to acquisitions and logistics processes.

Reports to: Program Manager. Working conditions include a professional office environment, the ability to meet physical requirements, the ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools, and the ability to establish a productive and professional workspace. The employee may be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays, travel for business or professional development purposes, and work hours outside of normal business hours.
