The RN will conduct home visits, providing comprehensive care for patients in their homes. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician. Monitor vital signs and health indicators regularly. Provide wound care and dressing changes. Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding. Develop and implement individualized care plans. Coordinate with healthcare providers for comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and families about health conditions and care strategies. Document patient progress and update medical records. Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care as needed. Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families. Manage pain and symptoms for patients with chronic or terminal conditions. Supervise home health aides and other support staff. Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patient care. Use medical equipment and technology efficiently and safe. Qualifications BSN or Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Maine. Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher (acceptable). Preferred Qualifications Certification in specialized areas of nursing (e.g., geriatrics, pediatrics). Previous experience in home healthcare or private‑duty nursing.
