About The Role Client Specialists are the first line of contact at all Barry’s studios. They are well‑versed in all aspects of our business, comply with company policies, procedures and directives, and develop lasting client relationships by providing superior hospitality, assisting with class selections, bookings, and questions; maintaining a clean studio; managing FuelBar orders; and handling merchandise purchases. Exceptional communicators and positive brand ambassadors, they convey memorable experiences for our clients and embody the Barry’s passion for health and community. This role encompasses the following responsibilities: Front Desk, Facilities & Fuel Bar. Responsibilities Front Desk Deliver a high‑level client experience, applying hospitality principles and processes. Act as a brand ambassador, warmly welcoming clients and ensuring a memorable experience that reflects the Barry’s brand. Build and maintain constructive relationships with clients and staff. Communicate with supervisors and teammates via phone, e‑mail, text, or in person promptly and efficiently. Provide consistent first‑class client service at all times. Maintain a clean, welcoming studio by assisting with cleaning, restocking, and upkeep. Guide clients regarding current promotions, membership discounts, and special events. Maintain product knowledge for all retail operations and participate in relevant training and development programs. Adapt to a flexible schedule, working weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts as required. Fuel Bar Deliver quality protein smoothies and customer service at the Fuel Bar. Handle pre‑orders and on‑spot orders tailored to each client’s needs. Assist clients in product selection and complete orders promptly using POS transactions. Maintain a clean and sanitized Fuel Bar environment. Follow safety, food‑handling, and sanitation procedures per local, state, and federal health regulations. Rotate merchandise in refrigerated coolers and tables, monitoring product expiration per company policy. Prepare Fuel Bar goods following company recipes. Facility Maintenance Prepare studio spaces for classes, including cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and wiping mirrors. Assist in cleaning and maintaining locker rooms to brand standards. Perform regular deep cleaning and organization of common areas such as the lobby, Fuel Bar, Red Room, Lift, Ride spaces, retail shelves, locker rooms, hallways, and storage areas. Conduct small studio repairs when appropriate. Provide laundry services: collecting, washing, and folding towels. Adhere to daily and weekly cleaning and maintenance checklists. Customer Service Provide the highest level of hospitality to existing and new clients. Maintain the client database and use information to increase client contact. Attend community social functions to generate new business, invite current and prospective clients to in‑studio events, and reach out through curated clienteling tools. Qualifications Strong hospitality skills and alignment with Barry’s Mission, Vision and Values. Ability to work full‑time or part‑time schedules. Availability: Full‑time – minimum 30 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and at least one weekend day. Part‑time – minimum 24 hours per week with 3–4 hours per shift, also including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and at least one weekend day. Friendly, outgoing personality that enjoys social interaction. Exhibits enthusiasm for the studio and the job. Patient, courteous listener who shows empathy. Responds to client requests with a can‑do attitude. Cooperative, team‑oriented mindset. Ability to prioritize and work in a fast‑paced environment. Exceptional cleaning skills and a clear understanding of maintaining a sanitary environment. Attention to detail and care for the studio’s appearance and cleanliness. Works cohesively with all Barry’s staff to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Maintains a professional appearance and behavior. Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
