Position Title: Billing Analyst

Location: Herndon, VA – Onsite

Assignment Type: Temp-to-Permanent

Compensation: $23/hour | Up to $55,000 upon conversion

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Benefits: This position is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k)

Key Responsibilities

• Support accounts receivable and billing activities
• Deposit and post customer payments
• Follow up on past-due customer accounts
• Communicate with customers by phone and email regarding outstanding invoices
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and deductions
• Reconcile customer accounts to outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate customer account records
• Assist with resolving customer billing and payment issues
• Work closely with internal team members to support departmental goals
• Utilize internal billing systems and accounting platforms
• Perform additional accounting duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 1+ years of accounting experience required
• Accounts receivable or billing experience strongly preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
• Comfortable learning and working within complex accounting or billing systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Customer-service-oriented approach
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision
• High level of initiative and follow-through
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
