Job Summary


Our client is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join their team. The primary responsibilities include assisting a Pharmacist with inputting prescriptions, filling and dispensing prescriptions, and maintaining pharmacy operations in accordance with regulatory compliance.


Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist with inputting prescriptions.
• Comfortably and confidently perform data entry tasks.
• Fill and dispense all prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory rules for prescriptions.
• Handle telephone inquiries and direct to the Pharmacist when needed.
• Prepare and deliver medications as per the delivery schedule.
• Assist walk-in customers or direct them to the appropriate department.
• Manage medication orders and inventory from suppliers.
• Assist with Medication Returns and E-Kit management.
• Maintain Pharmacy Technician License/Certification.
• Adhere to all corporate initiatives using provided tools and resources.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior Pharmacy Technician experience, preferably in retail.
• CPhT license required.
• Proficiency in inputting prescriptions.
• Availability to work every other weekend and 2-3 days during the week.
• Preferred experience in retail or long-term care (LTC).

Additional Requirements

• Availability for shifts of 2-3 days a week from 2-10:30 PM and other days from 10-6:30 PM.
• Every other weekend required, with Saturday hours from 10-6 and Sunday from 9-5.
