Food RunnerWe are looking for an energetic and professional food runner to join our vibrant restaurant. Assists both Front-of-the-House and Back-of-the-House staff by delivering food items to guests' tables in a timely manner.As a food runner, your ultimate goal will be to provide our guests with outstanding customer service and actively help to improve their overall dining experience. The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and demonstrate excellent communication skillsEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintains high knowledge regarding company's products, availability, specials, services offered, current & upcoming events, etc.; effectively communicates such to guestsServes as food quality inspector to ensure final product preparations align with company standards before delivering items to guestsDelivers food items in a timely manner to ensure optimum food temperature when it reaches the guestsGreets guests when approaching the table and matches food items with the correct guestsCommunicates any relevant messages to servers and/or bartenders regarding guests' requests/needsSets up and breaks down work station in accordance with department procedures and standardsMaintains adequate par levels of condiments, garnishes, and other related items. Preps condiments as needed Ensures work station is organized and clean at all timesCompletes all opening, running, and closing duties as assignedComplies with uniform standardsMust be at least 16 years of age upon date of hireCustomer ServiceProvides exceptional customer service to each guest on every occasion in order to achieve customer satisfaction.Looks for opportunities to exceed customer expectations and offers assistance accordingly.Displays genuine hospitality and courteousness on a consistent basis.Physical RequirementsAbility to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. as neededContinuous use of hands and armsContinuous bending, reaching, and twistingMaintains strong personal image and uniform standards
