Job Summary
Looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing process improvement, validation, production operations, and troubleshooting. The role will be approximately 30% office/lab and 70% shop floor , working closely with production and quality teams. Key Responsibilities
- Improve and validate manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing and machining process issues.
- Support daily production and quality operations.
- Validate new processes, prototypes, and engineering changes.
- Analyze manufacturing processes and prepare testing/validation reports.
- Create and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and technical reports.
- Support PCN and manufacturing process activities.
- Work with Production and Quality Engineering teams.
- 5 7 years of relevant engineering/manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Manufacturing or machining environment experience.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to create engineering sketches and perform basic engineering calculations.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Engineering/CAD software experience.
- Manufacturing Engineer / Process Engineer with hands-on shop-floor and machining experience .
- Comfortable spending significant time troubleshooting production processes.
- Experience with process improvement, validation, quality, and production support .
- Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Pontiac, IL .
