The ideal candidate will provide specialized nursing care to infants, children, and young adults, ensuring their needs are met with compassion and professionalism. Job Details Shift: Rotating Night and Day Shifts (3x12-Hour) Schedule: Variable shifts based on operational needs; must work at least every other holiday. Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team. Perform epilepsy monitoring and provide specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age. Administer medications and manage inotropes effectively. Conduct EKGs and interpret rhythm strips as necessary. Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation with acceptable scores. Qualifications Minimum of 12 months of permanent nursing experience in Pediatric Intensive Care. MUST possess a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS from AHA or American Red Cross. NIHHS certification is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
