Logistics Coordinator

LogisticsCoordinator Job Summary:The LogisticsCoordinatoris responsible fora wide range oftasks supportingthe organization’sobjectiveof deliveringequipment and suppliesin anefficient and effective manner.This individual isalso responsible foroverseeingwarehouse-relatedtasks. DeliveryFunctions: Create and coordinate multiple dailydelivery routesthat use resources in an efficientmanner. Contact customers via phone and email toarrangeand confirm deliveryappointments. Work with sales, order processing,fieldservice,andwarehouse to ensure smoothoperations. Arrange and coordinate third-party deliveryassistanceasneeded. Maintainaccurateorder statuses, scheduling updates, and customer notes within theEAsystem. Provide ongoing communication and support todeliverydrivers and fieldpersonnel. Monitor delivery schedules and proactively resolve logistical or customerissues. Ensure customers receive timely updates regarding delivery timing and schedulingchanges. Performadditionaladministrative and operational duties asassigned. Warehouse Functions: Receive incoming inventoryandassignorders as needed. Ensureinventoryintegritythrough good practices and periodic counts. Communicate equipmentstatusor concerns for all orders. Processsales orders andinitiatethe fulfillment process. MonitorShop Build process to ensure orders are ready for their designated delivery date. Stage and verify all next day deliveries. Maintain neat and organized equipment / warehouse. Performothertasks as needed and directed bymanagement. Required Qualifications:(Knowledge, Skills, Abilities): Effectiveorganizational and multitasking abilities Professionalverbaland written communication skills Ability to prioritize and adaptinachallenging environment. Strong customer service andcritical thinking skills Experience coordinating schedules,logistics, or dispatch operationspreferred. Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Ability to sit at a deskandstand/walkfor prolonged periods oftime. Ability to lift50lbs onoccasion. Ability to work in fast pacedenvironment.
