An interim Pharmacy Manager position is available at a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehabilitation hospital located in Washoe Valley, NV. This role involves overseeing pharmacy operations to ensure safe, effective, and compliant medication management within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage pharmacy staff, facilitating daily operations and maintaining workflow efficiency.
• Monitor medication distribution and inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy and patient care.
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies and procedures aligned with hospital guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Provide training and mentoring to pharmacy personnel.
• Manage budgeting and resource allocation for the pharmacy department.

Desired Experience:

• Proven experience as a Pharmacy Manager, preferably within a hospital or LTAC/Rehab setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, medication distribution, and regulatory compliance.
• Effective leadership and communication skills to manage interdisciplinary teams.
• Ability to analyze and improve pharmacy processes.
• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the state pharmacy board.
