We are looking for someone to keep our theater spaces in tip top shape to enhance the guest experience.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:Clean and service assign areas according to company standards of cleanlinessEnsure a clean, comfortable, safe, and attractive environment for our guestsAdhere to all departmental and company policies and procedures and safety regulationsContinuously maintain the cleanliness and sanitization of all assigned restrooms and theater spacesSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, polish, trash removal of all assigned areasUse the correct cleaning chemicals for designated areas and surfaces, according to company requirements and OSHA guidelinesMaintain the cleanliness of items such as trash cans, seats, windows, doors, mirrors, elevators, floors, stairs, furniture, and fixturesPerform additional cleaning projects as assignedPerform other tasks and duties as assignedWHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:Ability to work independently and as part of a teamEffectively communicate in English, both orally and writtenMaintain a positive and respectful work atmosphereExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to effectively and efficiently move around work areas as neededPatience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsOpen to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysProfessional appearance and demeanorQualificationsWHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL:Ability to work independently and as part of a teamEffectively communicate in English, both orally and writtenMaintain a positive and respectful work atmosphereExcellent problem solving and analytical skillsAbility to effectively and efficiently move around work areas as neededPatience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situationsOpen to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidaysProfessional appearance and demeanorEXPERIENCE/EDUCATION WE NEED YOU TO HAVE:At least 1 year minimum of experience as a Porter or related positionMust be able to read chemical labels, differentiate between them, and properly dilute from concentrated formPrior experience working in live entertainment a plusProven guest service experienceExperience in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentOSHA 10 certification a plusESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Ability to withstand prolonged walking, standing, bending, pushing, climbing and kneeling.Ability to perform all cleaning tasks and dutiesWork indoors and possibly outdoors and be exposed to environmental factors such as excessive noise, seasonal heat and cold, hard to reach and unclean work areas, cigarette smoke, and hazardous materials and equipmentAbility to lift 50 poundsAbility to work with cleaning products and chemicals using safety equipment provided by the companyThis job description should not be interpreted as all-inclusive; it is intended to identify major responsibilities, skills and requirements of the job.
