Lehigh Valley Dryer Vent Solutions is hiring an experienced, dependable Service Technician to join our growing company.
We are looking for someone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable working with tools and ladders, and experienced working in customers’ homes. Previous dryer vent experience is NOT required. Experience in HVAC, appliance repair, maintenance, construction, electrical, plumbing, chimney service, pest control, handyman work, or another service trade is welcomed.
Starting pay: $30.00/hour
This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson who wants steady work without being stuck at the same jobsite every day.
What you’ll do:
- Perform professional dryer and dryer vent cleanings
- Work inside customers’ homes and at exterior vent locations
- Use ladders and professional cleaning equipment
- Inspect dryer vent systems and identify potential problems
- Communicate professionally with homeowners
- Drive a company service vehicle between appointments
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work vehicle
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in a skilled trade or field-service position
- Is mechanically inclined and comfortable using tools
- Is comfortable working on 32’ ladders, crawl spaces, and roofs
- Has a valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Is dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Has strong customer-service skills
- Takes pride in doing quality work
- Is willing to learn our complete dryer and dryer vent cleaning process
