About Us We’re building a new kind of social network focused more on commerce than content. We’re pre-launch mode and expanding our presence at startup, investor, technology, and networking events across the nation. We’re looking for outgoing, self-motivated and reliable team members who enjoy meeting new people and can confidently represent an early-stage tech company at live events. The Role As a Startup Event Ambassador, you’ll attend events on behalf of the company and help introduce attendees to our platform. This is not a hard sales role. You are not expected to close deals, pitch investors, or give technical demos. Your Primary Responsibilities Starting conversations Describing the platform at a high level Encouraging interested people to scan a QR code to sign up Identifying strong leads Representing the brand professionally at events Your Exact Script When asked about the company, this is what you say – like literally: We\'re a stealth startup with a team of 30+ launching something special soon. The platform is designed to tap into existing behavior and positioned to grow independent of economic uncertainty . Your Playbook Find and attend events using tools such as Lu.ma, Meetup, Eventbrite Ask questions, people love talking about themselves Strike up conversations (with the script above) Invite prospective investors and founders to join our “first look shortlist”; present a QR code to streamline sign up and collect their phone number and email Ask for referrals and invitations to other public or private events Pass on leads to our team to qualify and engage Compensation $25/hour Performance bonuses for qualified signups/leads Flexible scheduling Paid event shifts Potential Earnings Startup events can range from 2–4 hours. We’re looking for a minimum of 5 qualified leads per hour worked. High performers can earn substantial bonuses on top of hourly pay. Ideal Backgrounds You do NOT need startup or investor experience.
