Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an assigned ICU patient population using the nursing process
• Collect and analyze relevant health data to determine diagnoses and care needs
• Develop, implement, and evaluate a plan of care; coordinate care delivery and promote safety
• Monitor patient progress, adjust plans as needed, and delegate appropriately to the nursing team
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families; provide education and discharge planning
• Ensure a safe, healing environment and contribute to continuous quality improvement

Requirements

• Current RN license in the state of California
• BSN preferred; ADN with relevant ICU experience considered
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in ICU/acute care nursing
• BLS (and CPR) certification required; ACLS/BLS per AH policy required
• Proficiency with EPIC and Cerner is required for backfill assignments
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity ICU setting
