Details CT Tech assignment in a Level I Trauma facility Patient population includes adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, ICU, and Emergency Department cases Performs abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT studies with and without contrast Special procedures include biopsies, drainage, myelography, and vascular chest imaging (e.g., pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta) Utilizes GE and Philips imaging equipment with PACS Cerner EMR experience required 3x12 hour Day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Requirements ARRT certification required WV license required (License required if applicable) Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required Level I Trauma experience required Cerner charting system experience required BLS certification required Experience with image display and post-processing, including 3D rendering (MIP, surface shaded displays, volume rendering) and ROI measurement Skilled in contrast media preparation and administration Proficient in peripheral IV starts and venipuncture Knowledge of radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE Additional Information Perform diagnostic CT imaging across multiple specialties including abdomen, chest, head/neck, and musculoskeletal studies Support trauma and emergency imaging needs within a Level I Trauma center First-time travelers will not be considered for this role Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; those between 75-100 miles may be considered case-by-case at the same rate Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from their last date of employment before returning as a traveler Current employees of the health system (including PRN staff) are not eligible for travel contracts within the same system Non-billable EMR training modules must be completed prior to start, typically taking 2-6 hours American Traveler Job ID #P-755112.
