Looking for 3rd Shift Candidates. The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in receiving, scanning, inventory control, packing, and shipping equipment such as modems, routers, and cable boxes in a clean, climate-controlled facility. You will use RF scanners, basic computer tools, pallet jacks, and carts to ensure products are accurately tracked, carefully handled, and prepared for outbound shipment while following clear work instructions, production targets, and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Unload trailers using pallet jacks or carts in a safe and efficient manner.
- Sort incoming equipment such as modems, routers, and cable boxes into appropriate areas or bins.
- Scan barcodes using handheld RF scanners to record and track products.
- Accurately log product serial numbers and inventory information in the system.
- Support inventory control activities, including inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Pack tested products into boxes using appropriate materials to protect items during shipping.
- Label packages accurately for outbound shipping and ensure they are ready for dispatch.
- Follow detailed work instructions and meet daily and weekly production targets.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station and surrounding area.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently while loading, unloading, picking, and moving products.
- Comply with all safety standards, security procedures, and company policies, including metal detector and device policies.
- Work on your feet throughout the shift, performing standing and active tasks for the full workday.
Essential Skills
- Previous warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, picking, packing, or material handling.
- Hands-on experience using RF scanners for barcode scanning and inventory tracking.
- Basic computer skills or experience using handheld scanners and related software.
- Experience with order picking and warehouse inventory processes.
- Ability to perform inventory control tasks, including inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Experience using pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely.
- Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail for logging serial numbers and labeling packages correctly.
- Comfort working on your feet and standing for the entire shift.
- Ability to comply with strict safety and security policies, including restrictions on personal items.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with shipping and receiving operations in a distribution or warehouse environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems and inventory control procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Comfort working in a structured environment with defined production targets.
- Strong reliability and willingness to follow all facility rules and procedures.

Work Environment
This role is based in a climate-controlled warehouse that is very clean, well-organized, and designed to support safe and efficient operations. You will work on your feet throughout the shift, as all roles are standing and active with no sit-down positions. The facility operates under a strict security policy, including a metal detector; you cannot wear items that would set off the detector, and you must be comfortable being away from your cell phone for many hours during your shift. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlestown, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.36 - $18.81/hr.
