This role drives alignment across cross-functional teams — including engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success — while building strong relationships with customers and business partners. Working alongside a team, the Product Manager sets product direction, conducts continuous customer discovery, and uses data and market insights to deliver measurable business outcomes.Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of product management or related experience, strong communication and influencing skills, and a demonstrated ability to manage SaaS products end-to-end. A Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus. Experience in healthcare technology or a regulated industry is preferred but not required. Travel of approximately 10–15% may be required to support partner and customer relationships and attend industry events.Key ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for adhering to all HealthStream security policies, procedures, and assigned training.Product Strategy & RoadmapDefine and maintain a clear product vision and roadmap for your assigned product(s), grounded in customer insights, market data, and organizational prioritiesConduct ongoing discovery including customer interviews, usability research, and competitive analysis to deeply understand user needs and market dynamicsTranslate strategy into a prioritized backlog, using data and a clear framework to make tough tradeoff decisionsProduct ExecutionDefine product direction and partner with the Product Owner to ensure development alignment from discovery through deliveryDefine and track key product metrics (adoption, retention, revenue impact), using insights to continuously improve your productsManage the full product lifecycle — from ideation and scoping through launch, iteration, and sunsetGo-to-Market & LaunchLead product launches end-to-end, partnering with marketing and sales to drive awareness, adoption, and revenueDevelop internal training, sales enablement materials, and customer-facing resources to support successful rolloutsIdentify market opportunities including conferences, industry events, and partnerships that can accelerate growthCross-functional LeadershipDrive alignment across cross-functional teams around a shared product direction, building consensus and momentum through influence and relationshipsBuild strong relationships with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted voice of the productManage and grow strategic business partner relationships, including evaluating new partnerships and supporting contract negotiations with leadership and legalRequirements3–5 years of experience in software product management, with hands-on ownership of a SaaS applicationDemonstrated experience managing a SaaS product end-to-end, including roadmap ownership and cross-functional collaborationStrong track record of using data and customer research to drive product decisionsExperience leading go-to-market efforts for product launchesExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; you can communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesComfortable leading cross-functional teams and influencing without direct authorityBachelor's degree in business, marketing, technology, or a related fieldThis is a hybrid role on the Quality & Compliance team, requiring in-office presence two days per weekQualificationsExperience in healthcare technology or another regulated industryFamiliarity with agile development practices and working alongside engineering teamsMBA or advanced degreeCompensationThe salary range for this position is $89,637 - 115,000. Salary will be determined by the candidate’s level of experience and qualifications.
