About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel to join their Real Estate team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing commercial real estate finance transactions, from initial diligence to closing. This includes tasks such as managing real estate diligence, drafting and negotiating complex loan documentation, and working closely with clients and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective management of transactions. The role demands a professional with a strong focus on commercial real estate finance, a proven track record in leading such transactions, and a deep understanding of real estate diligence matters. Applicants for the Senior Counsel position should have a minimum of 7 years' of relevant legal experience, with a significant emphasis on commercial real estate finance. The role requires a candidate with a strong knowledge of real estate diligence issues, including title, survey, zoning, and collateral, as well as extensive experience in drafting and negotiating sophisticated loan documents and related agreements. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, outstanding communication skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and colleagues. This is a senior role that offers the opportunity to take on significant responsibility in a leading real estate practice.
