Presort Associate 1

Responsibilities Prepare outgoing metered mail by reviewing proper date, postage, and good quality barcodes before placing them into production. Communicate errors and recognize bad barcodes found in the mail. Troubleshoot and remove mail piece jams from the machine. Perform all additional duties as required. Shift and Hours 1st shift with an hourly rate of $16.50. May include overtime, weekends, holidays, or a different shift with little or no advance notice. Qualifications Current work experience at Pitney Bowes as a Warehouse Mail Sorter. Ability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or a different shift with little or no advance notice. Dependable and reliable. Ability to understand and follow safety and other operational directions in English (or translated from English). Preferred: Mailroom, warehouse, or equivalent experience. Physical Requirements Lifting up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations. Walking, standing, stooping, and bending 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
