Registered Nurse (RN)
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) working primarily on the Respiratory unit, which admits patients with respiratory conditions. The RN may also occasionally float between various Med-Surg units, including Wound Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, and Observation. The role requires working 36 hours per week on the night shift.
Shift Information
Shift: Nights 7 PM - 7:30 AM
Every other weekend required
Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients in the Respiratory unit.
Float to other Med-Surg units as necessary.
Conduct telemetry monitoring and respond to critical changes in patient status.
Qualifications
Active Ohio RN license.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience.
Proficient in Epic EMR; proficiency must be documented.
Ability to read and interpret telemetry; competency will be assessed on the first day of employment.
Additional Requirements
Holiday coverage is required.
No call requirement.
