Dishwasher

Without you, nothing runs. The dishwasher position is one of the most important roles in this building. POSITION OVERVIEW The Dishwasher keeps Tupelo Grille operational. You ensure that a continuous supply of clean dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils is available to both the kitchen and floor throughout service. You also assist with basic kitchen cleaning tasks and contribute to maintaining a sanitary, organized back-of-house environment. Reports to: Chef / Kitchen Manager / General Manager CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Operate the dish machine safely and efficiently throughout service Wash, rinse, sanitize, and properly store all dishes, glassware, flatware, and cookware Maintain a clean and organized dish area throughout the shift Return clean wares to their designated locations in the kitchen and bar promptly Remove and dispose of trash and recycling as needed Sweep and mop kitchen and dish area floors as directed Assist with basic kitchen breakdown and cleaning tasks at the end of service Communicate supply levels (chemicals, rack space) and equipment issues to management QUALIFICATIONS No prior experience required — we will train the right candidate Able to stand for an entire shift, work in a wet environment, and lift up to 50 lbs Reliable, punctual, and willing to work weekends and holidays A team-first attitude YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU You work hard and you keep moving without being pushed You take pride in keeping your area clean and organized You understand that the kitchen does not function without you and you show up accordingly You are dependable — the team counts on you being there #J-18808-Ljbffr
