Dishwasher at the Whitebrier

Location: The Union League/Whitebrier 260 20th St, Avalon, NJ 08202 Job Type: Seasonal We’re seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team in a key support role that keeps our kitchen and facility running smoothly. Two shift options are available, each with its own focus. Please indicate your preferred shift when applying. Morning Shift (10:00am – 2:00pm) – Responsibilities Take out trash and place in proper dumpsters Spray and clean trash cans with a hose Return trash cans to designated areas (bathrooms, etc.) Assist with kitchen deliveries and transport boxes to storage Wash dishes left from the previous night Spray down and clean floor mats Tidy up trash and clutter throughout the facility Maintain the outdoor trash area in an orderly fashion Support general maintenance projects as needed Other duties as assigned Evening Shift (3:00pm – 11:00pm) – Responsibilities Scrub and clean kitchenware including pots, pans, trays, utensils, and bowls Remove trash and dispose of it properly Maintain the outdoor trash area in an orderly fashion Clean and spray down kitchen floor mats Restock clean plates and glassware Tidy up trash and clutter throughout the facility Assisting cooks or prep staff with end-of-day cleanup Other duties as assigned Skills and Requirements Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
