Quality Inspector-2nd Shift

PEKO Precision Products is a full-service, debt‑free, privately‑owned contract manufacturer with over 50 years of experience in the Rochester, NY community. We work in the medical, industrial, defense, and renewable energy industries to deliver new- product development strategies and solutions. Opportunity: Quality Inspector The Quality Inspector is responsible for conducting inspections of assemblies and machined parts, supporting the Quality and Engineering teams in investigating corrective actions, and maintaining inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and company standards. Essential Functions Perform dimensional inspections on both in‑process and finished machined parts and products using measurement techniques and equipment. Inspect weldments and fabricated products. Inspect finished products (painting and powder coat). Inspect assemblies and sub‑assemblies. Use common metrology tools including calipers and micrometers to measure parts. Program CMMs as needed. Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager. Reports To: Quality Manager Basic Qualifications Minimum education level of High School, GED, or equivalent. Familiarity with ISO‑compliant manufacturing environments. Ability to read blueprints and proficient understanding of GD&T. 3+ years of CMM operation/programming experience. Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of inspection experience in a precision machining environment. 5+ years of CMM experience. Previous exposure to CMM operation and programming. Experience with Smart Scope vision system using ZONE3 Metrology Software. Work Authorization US Persons only. Compensation A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate is $25.00–$28.00 per hour, plus a 10% shift differential. Benefits Competitive Total Rewards.
