Step into an impactful role as an Occupational Therapist supporting students ranging from early childhood through young adulthood. This is an in-person, contract opportunity perfect for a dedicated professional eager to empower students with disabilities through evidence-based practices and innovative support.


This full-time assignment spans 35 hours per week, from August 19, 2026, through June 1, 2027. The position serves students ages 3 to 21, depending on the specific need of each school or program within the cooperative framework. You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team committed to creating effective programs and advancing professional development while focusing on meaningful outcomes for all learners.


Qualifications:

• Current, active Illinois Occupational Therapy license is required
• Experience working within school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong skills in developing and implementing individualized, evidence-based intervention plans
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues, families, and other professionals
• Commitment to working onsite and delivering face-to-face services only

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students ages 3-21
• Assess students to determine needs and develop measurable intervention goals
• Contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and participate in team meetings
• Offer guidance and resources to educators for inclusive and supportive school environments
• Document services and progress in compliance with required standards
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices
