Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory Care / Outpatient Clinic | 13-Week Contract | Hawaii

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Ambulatory Care and Outpatient Clinic settings for a 13-week contract assignment in Hawaii. This opportunity is ideal for a clinically skilled nurse who is passionate about patient education, mentorship, and delivering high-quality care in a rural healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in an outpatient ambulatory care setting.
• Perform patient assessments, triage, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Promote quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based nursing practices.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent Ambulatory Care or Outpatient Clinic nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
• Experience working in rural health or community-based healthcare settings preferred.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR or similar electronic health record systems.
