Career Growth: Clear pathways to advance and develop your career Competitive Benefits: 401(k) match + health coverage + employee stock purchase plan Purpose-Driven: Create meaningful impact in the communities you serve Professional Development: Dedicated training + personalized mentorshipJob OverviewThe Facilities Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for completing scheduled and non-scheduled work as directed by the building maintenance supervisor, including but not limited to plumbing, facility electrical, carpentry, HVAC, flooring, roofing, masonry, repairs to loading docks, painting, repairs to overhead doors, cleaning, boiler repair and maintenance, restocking paper products, and recycling equipment maintenance.Duties & ResponsibilitiesUpkeeps and updates the lighting in the facility, including re-lamping, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing fixturesMaintains and upgrades plumbing systems, including cleaning drains; installing and troubleshooting fixtures, and repairing drain pansPerforms general carpentry, including installation of partition, dry way repair, and finish carpentry and paintingConducts masonry repairing forklift damage, patching concrete floors and walls, and pouring concrete bollardsPerforms electrical work by installing commercial wiring; troubleshooting and repairing commercial wiringPerforms HVAC troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systemsPerforms other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesKnowledge of Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC, Security, and Fire Alarm SystemsMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience Work Environment Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment Equal Opportunity Employer - All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
