Per Diem Pharmacy Technician in Bronx, NY

Join a dynamic retail pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician on a per diem basis, supporting daily operations and delivering exceptional patient care. This role focuses on accurate prescription processing, inventory management, and customer service within a busy pharmacy environment.


Location:

• Newark, New Jersey

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Specific assignment dates: May 18th, May 22nd, May 27th-29th, June 1st-5th

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy system.
• Assist the pharmacist in dispensing prescription medications safely and efficiently.
• Manage and order over-the-counter inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Work with third-party insurance plans to resolve prescription adjudication issues and ensure smooth processing.

Qualifications:

• Possess a clear and active Pharmacy Technician license in New Jersey.
• Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred to better serve the diverse community.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under supervision in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
