11330 Cleveland Ave NW, Uniontown, OH 44685, USA Current Status PRN Dietician with Availability 1-2x/Month Initially About the Role Innovative Therapy Center is seeking a PRN Registered Dietitian with pediatric experience and knowledge of Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID) to join our multidisciplinary team in Uniontown, Ohio. This is a new opportunity designed to complement our growing Pediatric Feeding & Swallowing Therapy program and provide families with access to collaborative nutrition support. We are looking for a dietitian who understands that pediatric feeding concerns can be complex and may involve nutritional, medical, sensory, behavioral, and feeding skill factors. The ideal candidate is comfortable working collaboratively with families and other professionals while providing individualized, evidence based nutrition care. Complete pediatric nutrition assessments and develop individualized nutrition recommendations Evaluate nutritional adequacy, growth, dietary variety, and potential nutrient concerns Provide nutrition counseling and education to children, adolescents, and caregivers Support children and families affected by ARFID, highly selective eating, limited dietary variety, and other pediatric feeding concerns Help families develop realistic strategies for meeting nutritional needs while respecting the child's individual feeding challenges Monitor growth and nutritional status and adjust recommendations as appropriate Collaborate with ITC's feeding therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Mental Health Counselors, and other members of the care team Communicate and collaborate with pediatricians, specialists, and outside providers when appropriate Recognize concerns requiring additional medical, behavioral health, or feeding/swallowing evaluation Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Practice within professional scope and maintain applicable licensure and credentialing requirements Schedule This is a PRN position, with scheduling based on patient demand and clinician availability. We are particularly interested in developing nutrition services that complement our existing feeding program, with the potential for the role to grow as demand develops. Job Summary Current credential as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN/RD) Experience working with pediatric patients and families Knowledge and experience supporting children and adolescents with ARFID and complex feeding concerns Strong understanding of pediatric growth, nutrition requirements, and nutritional assessment Ability to provide family centered nutrition education without creating unnecessary pressure around food or feeding Strong communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Commitment to evidence based, individualized care Experience with pediatric feeding disorders, highly selective eating, neurodivergent children, gastrointestinal or medical complexity, nutritional supplementation, and interdisciplinary feeding care is strongly preferred. Experience working alongside feeding therapists and mental health professionals in the treatment of ARFID is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
