This is a Travel position. You must live more than 30 miles from the facility to be considered for this position.

Pediatric Psychiatric RN – Child & Adolescent Unit | Nights

Shift Details

• 3x12-hour shifts
• 36 or 48 hours per week
• Straight nights
• Weekends and holidays required
• On-call per unit need

Position Overview

• Child and adolescent inpatient psychiatric unit serving patients ages 5–18 experiencing acute mental health crises
• Unit focus is on stabilization through robust group offerings, including Activities Therapy, Mindfulness, Wellness, and Coping Skills groups, as well as psychopharmacological interventions
• RNs work with a multidisciplinary team to meet patient goals and provide safe, effective, and therapeutic care
• Seeking candidates with a passion for pediatric psychiatry

Required Qualifications

• NYS RN License
• Minimum 2 years of pediatric mental health experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association only)

Preferred Qualifications

• CPI blue card
• Experience in a large, academic medical center

Skills

• RN License (NY License only) – Required
• Two (2) years of experience – Required
• BLS (American Heart Association only) – Required
• Telemetry – Nice to have
