POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting directly to the VP of Hospital Finance & Data Analytics, the Data Analyst Manager will be managing, researching, collecting, and analyzing complex data sets associated with hospitals across Florida. This position will be responsible for preparing executive level presentations and dashboards that showcase the Association’s leadership using data analytic tools and databases.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Managing master hospital data, including creation, updates, and deletion Leading, mentoring, and developing the data analyst team Managing users and user roles of hospital data sets Creating and sharing surveys created in Survey Monkey or a similar data collection application Providing quality assurance of imported data, working with quality assurance analysts, if necessary Processing confidential data and information Assisting in analyzing data and displaying that data for reports and presentations Supporting initiatives for data integrity and normalization Generating reports from single or multiple systemsCreating management level dashboards and presentations Evaluating changes and updates to data collection methods Training end-users on new reports and dashboards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field. Work experience as a data analyst or in a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide recommendations on process improvement. Demonstrate experience in handling data sets and the analysis of that data; experience with Python or R for analytics is preferred. Experience with data visualizations of large data sets. High-level written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and critical thinking skills, and strong project management and organizational skills.
