Data Engineer

We’re hiring a hands‑on Data Engineer for a 12‑month initial B2B contract, based in Baltimore. Candidates must already be based in Baltimore (hybrid working). Interviews are taking place this week (2‑stage process). Key Responsibilities Design and build secure, scalable cloud‑based data platforms that integrate data from multiple sources, including APIs, IoT, and enterprise systems. Develop high‑performance data pipelines and distributed processing solutions to support analytics, AI, and operational workloads. Establish data governance, security, monitoring, and reliability standards to ensure platform performance and compliance. Collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver data‑driven solutions at scale. Drive platform optimization, architectural best practices, and provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
