Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality hair services including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments
• Deliver an elevated, personalized experience for every client
• Conduct thorough consultations to understand client goals and maintain hair health
• Stay up to date with current trends, techniques, and continued education
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and follow all sanitation standards
• Recommend professional products and services to support client results
• Build and maintain strong relationships to encourage client retention
• Grow and maintain a loyal personal clientele
• Participate in salon education, trainings, and team collaboration
• Support salon events, promotions, and community initiatives as needed

Requirements

• Active Cosmetology License (Virginia)
• Established clientele and ability to bring and retain clients
• Experience with modern coloring techniques (blonding, balayage, lived-in color, etc.)
• Strong cutting and styling skills
• Passion for continued education and staying current in the industry
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confidence in retail product recommendations
• Social media presence or willingness to promote your work and build your brand
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed
