About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) division. The CFO will play a pivotal role in providing strategic financial guidance, overseeing all financial management activities, and ensuring compliance with a range of regulations. This includes managing a finance team, preparing and presenting financial reports, and maintaining relationships with external auditors. The successful candidate will be instrumental in supporting the organization's mission to enhance healthcare access and quality, particularly during a period of expansion. Applicants for the CFO position at the company's FQHC division must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with at least 8-10 years of senior financial management experience, preferably in healthcare or a similar regulated environment. Strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of healthcare accounting, FQHC operations, and federal funding sources are essential. The role requires the ability to stay abreast of legislative and policy changes affecting healthcare finance, as well as excellent communication skills to engage with both financial and non-financial stakeholders. Experience in FQHCs is a specific requirement, and a background in managing or implementing healthcare IT systems is a plus. The CFO will be expected to be onsite full-time for the first 90 days, with the potential for hybrid work thereafter.
