Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific goals.
• Deliver evidence-based individual, family, and group therapy sessions, applying various therapeutic techniques to facilitate positive outcomes. For example, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) strategies based on client needs.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Maintain detailed documentation of progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant client information, adhering to organizational policies and HIPAA standards.
• Engage in clinical supervision and participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health.
• Stay informed about best practices and research developments in the mental health field to continuously improve the quality of care provided to clients.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and ensure the confidentiality of client information in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Counseling or a related field is required.
• Must possess a valid and active license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently without requiring supervision.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a strong, compassionate nature, capable of building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficient computer literacy skills, including familiarity with telehealth platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy in a community health clinic or similar setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This position comes with a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year , dependent on experience and caseload.
