Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Profession: Nursing Specialty: IMCU/Med Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of current Med Surg experience License: Active RN license Certifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, Active American Heart Association ACLS Must-Have: Candidates must be willing to float. Charge RN experience is required. Experience in Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Cardiac Rehab, Trauma, and other serious injuries is required. EPIC experience is required. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this position. Permanent address must be included in the profile. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. Requests after offer may lead to a rescinded offer. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be ordered, collected, and resulted within 5 days of offer acceptance. Description: The Inpatient Unit specializes in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine Rehabilitation, and Psychiatry. Requested time off during the course of this assignment must be noted and verified upon upload. Requests after upload will not be approved. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled/needed. These blocks include Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, and New Year’s Eve through New Year’s Day and the weekend after. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be uploaded to the required system. Candidates must possess their own form of transportation as public transportation is not available in the area. Candidates should have the ability to adapt to various unit responsibilities as the position may require floating to different areas within the facility.
