About the Role:
Join WILLOW WOODS C D C as a Lead Teacher for our vibrant 2-year-olds classroom! We are looking for a passionate educator who will create a nurturing environment that fosters curiosity and growth in our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive and social development.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all children.
- Monitor and assess individual progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance curriculum and classroom experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom that is conducive to learning.
- Encourage positive behavior and social skills through interactive play and activities.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current in early childhood education.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience working with toddlers in a classroom setting.
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children and parents.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Knowledge of early childhood development milestones and best practices.
- Patience, creativity, and a passion for teaching young children.
- Must pass background checks and meet state licensing requirements.
