Role Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will ensure IEP compliance of speech services for extended school year (ESY), IEP students and mandated year round services for IFSP students. The SLP will support the evaluation and assessment process for year round IEP and IFSP services.


Minimum Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited college or university.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility from the American Speech Hearing and Language Association.
• Must hold Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene license for Speech Pathology.
• Knowledge and experience using Assistive Technology and instructional technology.
• Strong background in communication assessment, interventions, and programs for students with diverse special needs.
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without accommodations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including empathy, teamwork, conflict resolution, critical thinking, and emotional control; maintain organization and punctuality.

• Required prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer and other office equipment.
