Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active state nursing license required by start date Certifications: - BLS - AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate) - NRP Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience - Travel experience - Antepartum experience Description: We are looking for a Registered Nurse specialized in Labor and Delivery to join our team. This position involves floating between Labor and Delivery, Mother Baby, and OB Special Care units as needed based on census. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery are preferred. Applicants must have an active state nursing license by the start date, as well as current BLS, AWHONN (Advanced or Intermediate), and NRP certifications. Experience with EPIC charting is required. Travel experience is also necessary for this role. Applicants should be willing to work three weekends in a four-week schedule. The facility has 12 Labor Delivery Rooms, 3 Operating Rooms, and 8 OB Special Care beds. Care is provided for high-risk obstetric patients, and the unit is recognized for its Baby Friendly initiatives. This role requires expertise in various obstetric procedures and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care.
