Software Engineer PrincipalThe PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. seeks a Software Engineer Principal in Farmers Branch, TX. Participate in all aspects of PNC's Consumer Lending's Systems Engineering Group activities. Specific duties include: leading the technical design and development of software solutions; analyzing current business processes, defining and developing different tasks and workflows; creating business and technical designs for assigned processes, tasks and workflows; creating requirement definition and technical specifications; developing solutions from technical specifications to do the unit testing of the modules and deploy it into Non-Production and Production environments; and providing technical oversight to team members and guiding the team in solving technical issues.Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication, Electronics Engineering, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, MIS, Computer Science or Computer Engineering plus 5 years of experience in or for the financial services industry with Business Process Modeling Notations (BPMN) workflows using IBM BPM and Flowable BPM, Business Rule Management (BRM) and Messaging Queue (MQ), and migration of IBM Integration Bus (IIB) to java Openshift services is required. Must have experience with: IBM Integration Bus (IIB), Java development and container based applications deployments; developing software development solutions, including multiple integrations and business rules/business requirements in support of business and MIS prioritized projects as defined in yearly budget/roadmap planning, having a delivery timeline of 6 months or longer, and involving development from 2 or more full time allocated developers; leading teams through development and delivery of software development solutions; working with development teams to review requirements, create technical solution designs and perform code reviews, and supporting team through testing and resolution of associated software defects; implementing full project lifecycle software development including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, support and enhancement; proof of concept/process improvement development activities involving business assessment, feature analysis and development; working with business and project team members to understand business requirements and leading team through the creation and review of associated technical requirements; planning and participating in production deployment support, technical validation and issue resolution; and 1 year of technical lead or supervisory experience of domestic and international project development teams and work including coaching and mentoring team members.
