Maintenance Technician | Monday to Friday 7am to 3:30pm

Overview The Maintenance Technician position will require electrical troubleshooting skills as well as experienced mechanical aptitude. We are seeking qualified candidates with five years of experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with an emphasis on electrical installation, PLC knowledge, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting. Benefits Weekly pay with skill pay and shift differentials Benefits package including medical, dental, vision and medical reimbursement Medical employee-only premium less than $10/week with wellness discounts HSA with annual employer contribution Weekly 401(k) match Vacation immediately upon hire 8 holidays per calendar year Personal time after 90 days EAP and identity theft protection Tuition reimbursement Company paid life insurance and short term disability Responsibilities Machine installation Control wiring installations and troubleshooting to the component level PLC understanding and troubleshooting skills (not programming) Anchoring equipment Running conduit, pulling wire, termination of conductors Maintenance and rebuilding of equipment, conveyor systems, robotics, and other routine maintenance duties Qualifications High school diploma required 5 years of experience in packaging and equipment maintenance with emphasis on electrical installation and preventive maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in conveyors, robotics, over wrappers, palletizers, shrink wrappers, casers, air compressors, and boilers Experience maintaining and troubleshooting automated conveyor equipment (preferred) Certifications in basic electrical, mechanical, motor control relay logic, and schematic reading (preferred) Experience operating boom and scissor lifts required Knowledge and ability to use basic electrical test instruments including VOM, multi-meter, clamp-on amperometer, and other test instruments Ability to troubleshoot sensors, photo eyes and their relation to PLC operation Ability to troubleshoot pneumatic cylinders and MAC valves Equal Opportunity Saddle Creek is an Equal Opportunity employer and an affirmative action employer, as required by law.
