Intervention Specialist

Pay: $62,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Job description: Schaefer Education Solutions is an approved Autism Scholarship and Peterson Scholarship provider for the Ohio Department of Education. Schaefer offers 1:1, in-home and center-based intervention and therapy for students between the ages of 3 to 21 years old. We work in the homes and private school settings of our students across Dayton, Ohio. We also work out of our office in Bellbrook, Ohio. Schaefer customizes student's educational programming and therapy to meet their unique needs. We are equipped to design an individualized team for each child to reach their full potential. *Pay based upon experience

Job duties:

• Implement student's speech language therapy IEP goal and objectives
• Track progress on IEP goal and objectives
• Report progress quarterly on IEP goal and objectives
• Create a new IEP goal with objectives once per year
• Collaborate with team members including licensed intervention specialists, orton gillingham reading specialists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, BCBA's, RBT's, and board certified music therapists
