Type: Part-Time (45 Hours Bi-weekly) Hours: Varies Shift: Varies Pay Range: $52.87 - $69.91 / Hour depending upon years of experience Job Summary: The Technologist will process the day-to-day activities and workflow on a given shift within the lab. This will include ensuring SOPs, practices, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations are followed. Responsibilities: Triaging and performing product testing Ensuring optimal product inventory levels Overseeing quality control on automated testing instruments Identifying and implementing process improvements Requirements: Valid NYS License for Clinical Laboratory Technologist Knowledgeable in both NYSDOH and Joint Commission Regulatory requirements for Blood Bank Minimum of 5 years experience in Transfusion Medicine Knowledge of a computerized laboratory information system Ability to interpret lab results and prepare slides for study Bachelor's Degree required Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
