Production Home Assembler / Drywall TechnicianWe currently have an opening for a Production Home Assembler / Drywall Technician at our Colony Plant. This is an entry-level, full-time position. Positions include all aspects of the finishing of drywall manufactured houses.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Drywall Finishing (tape, coat, sand, paint, touch up).Carpet installation and Trim carpentryWorks in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job dutiesMaintains work area is kept clean and organizedFollows work orders and instructions on finishing housesMaintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns and assembly of building componentsMeeting weekly production goals individually and in a department setting per assigned DepartmentMay be cross-trained into other departments to ensure job knowledge progression and a balanced work forcePerforms various other job duties as assigned and neededMaintain a good attendance recordDemonstrate a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrityAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with little supervisionMinimum Qualifications:Construction or Warehouse Experience a plus but not requiredFlexible to work in a fast paced, changing environmentNot afraid to get dirty and handle tools/equipment on a daily basisAbility to be trained and take directionAbility to work in a team with othersMust be 18 years of ageMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screenThe scheduled work week is Monday thru Friday, occasional Overtime and Saturday work may be requiredMust have a reliable way to get to and from workEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
