Residential Care Associate I

to join our team at our Fairview Firs in Fairview, Oregon! The Residential Care Associate I will provide caring companionship and assistance with daily tasks to clients. They will provide personal care services and support that helps individuals develop appropriate daily living skills and independent activities of daily living to increase or maintain their level of functioning. The Residential Care Associate I will assist with meal preparation, clean-up, and food purchasing, while encouraging client participation. Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, they will pass medications and perform delegated medical care as prescribed by the client’s primary care provider. They will transport clients to and from the program as necessary to engage and provide treatment services. They will maintain compliance with established productivity standards for documentation of services. This position falls under the AFSCME bargaining unit. Wages, benefits, and working conditions are set in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Training Program With our MHACBO-accredited training program, you will earn CEUs towards applicable mental health certifications, while attending your required, paid training, and receiving qualified clinical supervision gaining on-the-job experience. Technology Requirement Employees are required to maintain access to a compatible smartphone capable of supporting the organization’s approved multi-factor authentication (MFA) application as a condition of employment. Friday through Monday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm (Part Time Swing) What You’ll Make $21.42 - $22.07 per hour

DOE/Credentials. Differentials: In addition to your base wage, CCS offers the following pay differentials,

subject to position, program, and eligibility requirements: NOC Differential : An additional

$3.00 per hour

for hours worked between

10:00 PM and 8:30 AM , provided that at least

2.5

hours of your shift occur within this designated period.

Secure Program Differential : An additional

$2.00

per hour for all hours worked in an eligible CCS secure program.

Bilingual Differential : An additional

5% pay differential

for employees who meet the qualifications of the CCS Language/Bilingual Program.

About the Program Fairview Firs is a co-ed, 5-bed program serving adults living with a mental illness. The program includes an ADA-accessible unit and each resident has a private bedroom. There are community areas, kitchen/dining room areas, enclosed outdoor areas for residents to enjoy. Fairview Firs is a beautiful older home located in a grove of old growth timber on a large lot filled with lush landscaping. In addition, you must successfully complete crisis de-escalation and CPR trainings, which require performing various physical, hands-on maneuvers and techniques and may require an individual to lift and transfer clients.
