Our organization is seeking an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist/Nocturnist Physician to become part of our esteemed Women's Health Care Center located in Asheville, NC. About the Practice

The practice is composed of seven physicians supported by an exceptional staff. With nearly 40 years of service to women in the Asheville community, we have established a robust patient base. All deliveries and gynecological surgeries are performed at Mission Hospital, which features a level 3 NICU, advanced robotics for specialized gynecological procedures, and the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) residency program.

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for a physician eager to join a distinguished group in a thriving area and a reputable hospital system, focusing on Labor & Delivery while working hospital shifts.

Practice Highlights

• Shifts will take place at Mission Hospital, a level 1 trauma center equipped with a level 3 NICU, hospitalist support, and the da Vinci robotic system.
• A private call room with full amenities is provided for the practice.
• The hospital has a Labor & Delivery coverage team available to assist hospitalists.
• This is a full-time position requiring work from 5 PM to 8 AM.
• The provider will be expected to work 10 days each month, typically in 2-3 consecutive shifts.
• Group malpractice coverage is included.
• Call responsibilities are shared with another practice group.
• Competitive salary and benefits package offered.
• Includes a $30K commencement bonus and a $30K retention bonus.
